    William Spencer Eakin born July 6, 1820, son of John and Lucretia Eakin. He married Lemira G. Ewing Feb 25, 1848 in Philadelphia PA. She died suddenly in Dresden, Saxony on March 20, 1869. They had one son, Hugh Campbell born March 22, 1849. On June 27, 1871 William married Mary P. Chaney and had a son, William Spencer Jr born May 14, 1872.
