    William Dorrell, b. Yorkshire England 15 Mar 1752, soldier early in life, became civilian ["deserted" according to Allred] after Burgoyne's surrender, settled in Petersham, Warwick, Northfield, finally Leyden. About 1794 started a strange sect called Dorrellism [substantial discussion of its beliefs], starved himself to death saying he would never die if he continue to eat, 28 Aug 1846.
