Born in Whitley County Oct. 15, 1913, she was the daughter of Ben and Lillie Burch Smith. She had been a resident of Kendallville for 50 years. She was married May 15, 1945 in Albion to William Andrew Craven, who died Sept. 2, 1967. She was a member of Elmwood Mennonite Church, the Lucky Birthday Club, and VFW Auxiliary. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lewis E. (Gertrude) Groh, R. 3, and Mrs. Harold J. (Marjorie) Sibert, 224 E. Wayne St.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Smith, Kendallville; and a sister, Mrs. Elva Mollett, N.J. Funeral will be Wednesday at Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home.
