Born 1695, in England. Kidnapped, 1711. Impressed into British Navy.Deserted at Boston, Mass., 1712. Married Jane, daughter of Jonathan andJane Jordan, at Stoughton, Mass. Removed to Connecticut abotu 1745, andfrom Bridgeport, Conn., to Horton, Nova Scotia, 1758. Died at Gaspereau,Nova Scotia, October 28, 1802, aged 107 years.
