Email between David M Christopher and Jimmy Christopher.

William Christopher (David, Nicholas) made a will dated October 23, 1816. It appears that the will was probated in the Oglethorpe County Court of the Ordinary, at the January 1827 term. The will named his children as you list them in your e-mail. It appears that perhaps Frances was the oldest. The boy’s names are always listed as John, David, and Richard. I think this may indicate birth order.

I really need to research this family as I do not know much about any other than Richard. I have the following information:

Frances (William, David, Nicholas) married William Marable in Mecklenburg County, Va. on December 5, 1801. She and her husband moved with the rest of her family to Oglethorpe County, Ga. around 1802. She has a large number of descendants in this area of Georgia.

John (William, David, Nicholas) appears to be the oldest son. He married Elizabeth Varner on March 20, 1812 in Oglethorpe County, Ga. I have found two sources which list his children as Susan, Lucinda, William, and Thomas
