    'There was no Isabella Storke. In copying the will of Isabell Carpenter, Harry Rogers mistakenly transcribed the surname of her brother Edward as Storke, rather than Stockeham (see p. 12). Others, apparently content to take his word for it, have simply repeated it, rather than consult the original will.'
