    I will be providing documents that leave no doubt that William Ashton (father of Samuel) died in 1773, most likely in November. That would have made Samuel just shy of 3 years old. It is also obvious in these documents that Phebe is deceased at this point. [Kim has copies of original documents where William & Phebe spelled their last name as "Aston."]
