    Died-William Argabright, on Saturday, March 3, 1877,, about 64 years. Je came to this part of the country from Montgomery County, Virginia in 1843, He leaves seven children.

    After the death of William's first wife, Catharine, William married a woman who was also a widow, Amanda (Chapman) Taylor. Amanda was born in New York in 1829. On February 13, 1849 she married William A. Taylor in Pike County, Ohio, who was born in 1825 and died on May 25, 1858.(Find a Grave #is:143058336 and is buried in the Rittenour Cemetery in Pike County). Amanda and William Taylor had three children: John William Taylor who would end up living in Nebraska as an adult. Charles A. Taylor, and Harlo Chapman Taylor (Find a Grave #is: 93248157). Amanda married William Argabright on February 26, 1865 in Seal Township, Pike County, Ohio. They would become the parents of two children: Rufus Grant Argabright (Find a Grave #is: 81038650)and Sarah M. Argabright (Find a Grave #is: 71898350). Amanda died on December 13, 1875 and William Argabright died on March 3,1877. Rufus was about 11 years old when his father died, and moved to Nebraska with John and his family. In the 1880 Federal Census they are in Precinct L, Seward, Nebraska. Sarah was 9 years old when her father died. In the 1880 Federal Census, Sarah M. (Sally) Argabright is living as a foster child with Robert and Mariah A. Morgan and their family in Scioto, Pike County, Ohio. On January 6, 1893, Sarah married Thomas Wesley Morgan. They and their children would leave Pike County, Ohio and lived in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio. It is NOT KNOWN if Amanda was buried in the Rittenour Cemetery, with her first husband, or if she was buried in the Barger Cemetery with William Argabright. Her name does not appear on Find a Grave in either cemetery.
