    REMUS, Karl Gerald Passed away peacefully in Marianhill, Pembroke on Thursday, April 1, 2004 in his 86th year. Karl Remus of Pembroke, husband of the late Annetta Remus (nee Buske) and by first marriage the late Doreen Remus (nee Kumm). Son of the late Charles and Wilhelmina Remus (nee Noack). Predeceased by brother Arthur Remus and sisters Flora Biesenthal and Elizabeth Schultze. Survived by his nieces and nephews <names of living individuals have been removed>. Special friend of Bea Parisien. Long time employee of the Canada Post Company in both Pembroke and Ottawa. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Sunday from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. and on Monday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel for family and close friends on Monday, April 5th 2004 at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in Hamilton Hall. Spring Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Eganville. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated).

Remains left Hulse and Playfair, Ltd., 315 McLeod St., on Sunday evening. Resting at her home, 560 Miller St., Pembroke. Funeral service and interment on Tuesday afternoon.
