    Wilford E. Tupper, 89, of Nampa, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 17, 2000, surrounded by his family. Burial at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Wilford E. Tupper was born on December 12, 1910, in Hagerman, Idaho, the son of Wilford G. and Lillian Tupper. His parents were early settlers to the Hagerman Valley. He was reared and educated in Hagerman. He married Naomi Jean (May) Walker on Nov. 22, 1949. Following their marriage they made their home in Hagerman, where they owned and operated a dairy farm and co-owned a fish hatchery with Vardis Fisher and Wilford's two brothers, John and Bob. In 1953, they moved to Shoshone where they continued to operate a dairy farm. In 1964, they moved to Caldwell so their children could attend Northwest Nazarene University. In 1976, he retired and he and Naomi moved to their home in Nampa where they have since resided. Following retirement he worked part-time for 15 years at the Alsip Funeral Chapel. Wilford was a hard worker who enjoyed farming and was very meticulous in all of his work and hobbies. He loved his family and enjoyed being with them. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He taught all of his grandsons how to be successful fishermen. Wilford became a Christian in 1955, and was a faithful servant who loved and served the Lord. His compassion and kindness were evident to all who knew him. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

    Wilford is survived by his wife, Naomi Tupper, Nampa; his son and daughter-in-law, J.D. and Carolyn Walker, Post Falls, ID; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Richard and Tamee Mark and Debi and John Van Manen, all of Nampa; his grandchildren; Dan and Penni Walker and their 2 children, Wendi and William; Jim and Shirley Walker and their daughter, Breanna; Paul and Lori Walker and their 3 children, Tracy, Dakota and Sean; Debbie Salisbury and her son, Justin; Rich and Mindy Mark and their daughter, Elly; Kevin and Jenny Mark and their daughter, Ysabel; Angie (Van Manen) and Ryan Martin; and Brian "B.J." and Chryste Van Manen; a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Faye Tupper, Hagerman, ID; and a number of nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a granddaughter, Wendee Renee Mark.
