WILBUR HARMON DIES ---
Wilbur Harmon of 613 Crescent Street died at Harriman Hospital Wednesday morning following a lingering illness. He was 83, and was a retired foreman of the Harriman Manufacturing Company.
He is survived by his wife; Mrs. Carrie Clark Harmon; two daughters, Frances Harmon and Mrs. Vernie Whaley, both of Harriman; four sons, Fate of Osceola, Ark., Tom of Knoxville, Harley and Oscar, both of Harriman; 8 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Harry Ferguson of Oakdale.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Riverside Baptist Church with the Rev. Pat Howard officiating. Burial will be in Willard Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Maxwell Funeral Parlor tonight (Thursday) between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock.
