    LYNDON - Wilbur A. Anderson, 93, Lyndon, died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at a Topeka nursing home. He as born April 24, 1910, at Platte City, Mo., the son of Oscar J. and Isa (Wilkerson) Anderson Sr. He farmed until moving to Topeka in 1942. He worked for Morrill Packing Co. until 1946 and later worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 26 years. He retired from Goodyear in 1972. He was a member of South Knollwood Baptist Church in Topeka and the United Rubber Workers Union No. 307, Topeka. Wilbur married Agnes Pemberton on Aug. 8, 1934, in Kansas City, Kan. Agnes died April 19, 2002. Surviving are two sons, Roger Anderson, Lyndon, and Gerald Dean Anderson, address unknown; one brother, Oscar Anderson Jr., Winchester; five sisters, Juanita Stewart, Carbondale, Beulah Bunn, Lawrence, Frances Smith, Leavenworth, Violet May, Phoenix, and Ruby Stewart, Valley Falls; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, the Rev. T.J. Ander son. Mr. Anderson will lie in state from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday. He will lie in state from 8 a.m. until noon Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at South Knollwood Baptist Church. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens, west of Topeka.
