From a Dayton Daily News article of 2 January 1996 “Cargill supplies corn for…cheez-its”. From at least 1921-1972, but I am pretty sure it was there longer, the Sunshine Biscuit Company operated in the Edgemont neighborhood at the corner of Cincinnati Street and Concord Streets. From the 1921 Williams Dayton Directory Green & Green Co Weston Green pres Jos W Green Secy and treas cracker mfrs n w c Cincinnati and Concord Daytonhistorybooks.com has a photograph of the Sunshine Grill and in the background is the Sunshine Biscuit Company sign and factory.
