    Losh, Werner James, age 91, passed away on Wednesday July 6, 2016. Mr. Losh was a published composer of symphonies that have been enjoyed domestically and abroad. He was a member of ASCAP and taught music to students at Hauer Music. He served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during WW II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenna and Bernard Losh; and by a sister, Elizabeth Ingler; He is survived by his loving wife, Janet; step daughters, Emily Bradley and Teresa Bennett; brother, Pete Losh (Margaret); grandchildren, Seth, Grace and Molly Bennett and Nick and Kiersten Bradley, and nephews, Jeff Losh and Phil Losh. In keeping with his wishes no public services are planned. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Dayton, the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Dayton Philharmonic. Family would like to extend deep gratitude to his caregivers Rachel Poe and Jewely Rockwell and her family. The family would also like to thank The Dayton VA Hospice and the Hospice of Dayton for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The VA Hospice Fund, 4100 W.
