    Warren is the fourth son of Stephen & Ruth Webster. Born & raised in Oneida County, Warren married about 1819 to Catharine Littlefield, daughter of Josiah & Eunice (Hunt) Littlefield and sister to Susannah who married his brother, Justus. They stayed in Oneida County NY til 1825, when he moved to Murray, NY in Orleans county. The rest of their children were born there and Warren & Catherine are buried there. The exact birth order of their children is uncertain. The Genealogy has some dates that do not jive with the Census?

    Orleans County Will Records (p.509) His will was made 17 Jan 1863 in Murray and he enumerates his wife, Catherine; his niece, Juliana Nelson; his sons, Warren Jr., David, Stephen, Josiah, George, & Porter; and his daughters, Roxy Ann Nelson, Ruth C. Hoggarth, and heirs of Juliana Nelson, deceased. Warren Jr and George executors. NOTE: do not think Juliana Nelson is his niece; I think she is his granddaughter? Will was probated 17 Jan 1863.

    1830 Census for Murray in Orleans County, NY p.50 shows Warren Webster head of family of ten...6 boys & 2 girls. He is 30-40 & wife is same.

    1840 Census for Murray,NY p.421 Warren Webster head of family of 11- 6 sons & 3 daughters

    1850 Census for Murray, Orleans Co., NY shows Warren, 55, & Catherine, 56, farming with their 2 youngest sons: Porter 23 & Josiah 20. Two girls: Ruth 15 & Julia 7. With the household is a Stephen Webster 12. WHO is this 12yr Stephen???

    1855 Census shows Warren, 60 b.Oneida Co & Catherine, 61, with their daugher Ruth, 21 and Julia Nelson, 12, granddaughter. Next door is son, *Warren 35, b. Oneida, farmer, & wife Flora 35, & Lucy 8, & Martin 3. Close by is son,* David 33, b.Oneida, farmer, & wife Corinthea 24, & children Daniel 7, Hercules 5, Franklin 2, & Clara 1mo. In Barre Twp. is son* George 31, b.Oneida, farmer & wife Clara 28, no children. Also in Murray is son *Stephen 35(s/b30) b. Orleans, a produce dealer & his wife Catherine 29 & children Henry 7, Agnes 5, Catherine 3, Orvin 2, & Stephen 6mos. Sons *Porter & *Josiah have moved out of Orleans County.

    1865 State Census for Albion, NY in Orleans Co. shows Catherine Webster 71, widow of Warren, b.Rensselaer & Julia Nelson, 22 granddaughter, b.Orleans living in same household

    Warren & Catherine's 11 children (6 sons) are continued in Chap 58 p.1164
    *Warren Jr. b.1820 m. Flora Beebe. They had 3 children (2 sons) which they raised on an Orleans county farm. Their sons were Martin Luther b.1851 & Huron Beebe b.1858. Their daughter never married. Martin m.Emma Hard and they raised 10 children (5 sons). He was a farmer and they removed to Murray County NY. Huron m. Frances Ward and they farmed in Orleans county & had 2 girls.
    *David m.1st Sophronia Pierce & 2nd Corintha Day, farmed in Orleans Co & raised at least 4 sons: In Buffalo (1905) were David & Hercules; In Rochester (1905) Edward & Fred.
    *Stephen m.Catherine Bidwell. In 1860 & 1870 was in Niagara County NY. Had 6 chldrn, Supposedly he moved to Van Buren Co.,MI??. The Genealogy only mentions one son, Henry C. who was a RR clerk in Denver in 1905.Henry .b.1848/Agnes b.1850/Katie b,1852/George Orvin b.1854/Ida b.1857 & Carrie b.1859
    *George Waugh b.1823 m.Clara Woodbridge & farmed in Orleans county all his life. They had only one daughter. In 1905, she was living in nearby Holley, NY
    *Porter b.1826 m.Maria Gibbs & they removed to Genesee Co. Had two boys:Squire b.1854 & Clinton b.1857. In 1905, Squire was in Bowmansville, Erie, NY, has 6 children (2 sons). In 1914 Clinton was in Genesee County with 4 children (1 son).
    *Josiah b.1830 m.Rebecca Mead & they had 5 sons, 3 living to adulthood. In 1905, Adelbert b.1867, lived in Little Rock, AR. Kirk b.1869 & Walter b.1877 lived in Medina, NY
    *Juliana m.Richard Nelson, no dates on her death or how many children she had but she died very young. Richard then married her sister, Roxy.
    *Roxy Ann m.Richard Nelson as 2nd wife. On 1850 Census Richard is 36, Roxy 33, they have 6 children with 2 sets of twins.Another child Juliana Nelson 7, is living with Warren & Catherine.
    *Ruth Christina b.1834 m.Michael Hogarth. The farmed in Orleans county. No children survived to adulthood. The End
