Last Rites For Mrs.
Austin On Monday
Mahala Frances Austin daughter of Reuben and Sarah (Dale) Boston was born March 7th 1848 on the Boston homestead near Carthage where she grew to womanhood.
She was united in marriage to George Austin to which union the following children were born: Emily who died in infancy; Edward and Mrs. Alice Yetter who preceded her in death; and W. C. Austin of Penfield, Ill.
At an early age Mrs. Austin became a member of the Christian church to which she was always a faithful and devoted member.
Besides several brothers and sisters, Mrs. Austin is survived by a number of grand children and great grand children.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 oÂclock at the Christian church with Rev. Fred S. Nichols officiating. Burial was at Moss Ridge cemetery.
