    MRS. V. BRESETTE OF BLACK LAKE, DIES AT HEPBURN
    Mrs. Vinnie Schofield Bresette,75, died at the Hepburn Hospital last night at 12 o'clock. She was born in Hermon, March 23, 1869, daughter of the late William and Lucinda Taylor Schofield.
    Mrs. Bresette received her formal education in the Hermon Schools. She married Issac Bresette on Oct. 12, 1895.
    After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Bresette operated a farm near Hermon for a number of years. Later they managed the Nate Ward farm at DePeyster. They subsequently purchased a farm on the Lovejoy Rd., just outside of Ogdensburg, where they resided for a number of years. After they retired from farming they made their home at Black Lake. Mr. Bresette passed away eight years ago last Nov. 1. Since the death of her husband Mrs. Bresette had made her home with her children.
    She was removed to the Hepburn Hospital on Nov. 17, and underwent a major operation there at that time, from which she made a successful recovery. Last Saturday she suffered a heart attack from which she failed to rally.
    Mrs. Bresette was a very active member of the Hermon Methodist Church and was a devoted mother. Her host of friends will mourn her passing.
    Surviving are the following children, Mrs. Stanley Schofell, Flackville, Mrs. James Young, Ogdensburg. Mrs. Henry Schofell, DePeyster, Miss Winifred B. Schofield, Morristown, and Windsor B. Schofield, Cleveland, Ohio; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Nichols funeral Home, New York Ave. The Rev. John G. Myers, pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church of Osegatchie.
    Burial will be in the Purmit Cemetery, DePeyster.
