Vernon Couch MIAMI, Okla. — Vernon Lee Couch, 65, 623 C St. SE, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at Miami Baptist Hospital. He had been a patient there six days. Mr. Couch was born April 1, 1913, in Tiff City, Mo. He had lived in Miami nine years, moving here from Baxter Springs, Kan. He was employed, in the maintenance department) at Northeastern A&M College for more than nine yearas. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Couch; three sons. Gene Couch, Wichita, Kan., Bill Couch, Quapaw, and Jack Couch, Baxter Springs: two brothers, the Rev. Leslie Couch Jr., Quapaw, and Charles Couch, Baxter Springs, and 13 grandchildren. Services will be announced by Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Picher.
