A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, in River View Cemetery for Venita E. B. Lobdell, who died Oct. 5 at age 84.

Ms. Lobdell was born Dec. 27, 1915, in Linnton. Her maiden name was Brous. She graduated from Lincoln High School and the University of Oregon. As a young woman, she was a model for Bedell's clothing store. She was a high school art and business teacher in San Rafael, Calif., before her retirement and sold real estate. In 1989, she moved to Tigard.

Survivors include her cousins.
