"Age 89, died August 7, 2005; born January 23, 1916 in Monon, IN. Mrs. Wardwell was a teller for American Bank and Trust for 28 years and a volunteer for Sparrow Hospital and the American Red Cross for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester in 1989, mother, Myrtle Stevens and brother, Keith Stevens. Surviving are 1 daughter, Janice Maier of Lansing, 2 grandchildren, Michelle of Lansing and Timothy of Detroit; nephews, Terry (Linda) Stevens, Jeff Stevens and Roger (Suzie) Kowalski and families. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2:00 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Chapel Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice Services, P. O.
