    MIGRATION: 1635 (granted land based on a Boston townorder of 14 December 1635 "for the laying out of great allotments unto the then inhabitants" [BTR 1:22, 30].
    CHURCH MEMBERSHIP: On 12 June 1636, "Valentyne Hill, mercer," was admitted to oston church [BChR 22]. On 17 May 1640, "our brethren Valentine Hill and Jacob Elyott were by the brethren of church chosen and by the laying on of hands of the presbytery ordained to the office of deacons [BChR 29; WP 4:354].
