Cunningham, Valentine - entered service 1778 in Virginia; granted Pension age over 65 in Roane County, Tennessee, 1820 family then "present wife" Frances age 36 + her children by 1st husband West Lahon (Hugh age 16, William age 12, & David age 10) + son Martin age 1 (soldier's son by Frances) + Rhoda his daughter by former wife; soldier died 10/17/1832; query letter in file states soldier & wife Mary La Prade were parents of Alexander, who was War of 1812 soldier (enlisted age 16) & who died in Indiana, married Nancy Archibald who was granted Pension in Indiana R713.
