Sor Odal Bygdebok Vol. 2 p. 113 Tor Torkelsen took over the Leikvang family farm after his father died. Tor Torkelsen c. 1688-1737 m: 1719 to Marit Knutsd. from Rud 1693-1773. 6 children. Tor protested in 1721 against Hans Nust, claiming he and his siblings were children of the oldest brother and should have Skarer [gnr 53] farm. Tor and his brothers-in-law -- for their wive's interests-- Torbjorn Amundsen Taul, Sjur Hansen Slastad, Erik Olsen Leivang and Tosten Olsen Dagfinrud in Nord-Odal sold their inherited interest in Rud in Strom to brother Gunner Knutsen. Eldeste son of Tor (Knut Torsen) took over and bought his siblings share in 1754.
