    [103] 38. Timothy Ricker Ricker (Judith Pitts, Sally Hamilton, Benjamin, Benjamin, Abel, David), son of Benjamin and Judith (Pitts) Ricker, was born at Waterborough, Maine, June 6, 1828. From the time of his marriage until June, 1855, he lived in Lynn, Mass., where he was engaged in the manufacture of shoes.

    In that year he settled in Cortland, Ill., where he was a distinguished member of the I.O.O.F.; was greatly interested in public affairs and a highly respected citizen.

    He married at Great Falls, N. H., March 23, 1852, Anstasia S. Carlton of Weld, Maine, born December 23, 1828, died at Cortland, Ill,., November 3, 1870, daughter of Ezra and Mary Carlton.

    He died at Cortland, January 18, 1911, and he and his wife are buried there.
