Source:Memorial of Josiah Kendall, one of the first settlers of Sterling, Mass., and of some of his ancestors, and of his descendants, p. 14, says that Timothy, a resident of Leominster, d. 21 Jul 1780. This is probably based on the record in Source:Vital records of Leominster, Massachusetts to the end of the year 1849, p. 330: Kendal, Timothy Sr., July 21, 1780, in 39th y. But the age at death does not match. In fact, it matches nicely to Timothy's son, Timothy: p. 89: Kendall,, Timothy, s. Timothy and Esther, Oct. 1, 1741. All we can tell is that this Timothy had either died or moved away by 1780, leaving his son to be called Senior, but this is not his death record.
