Thomas1), born 12 October 1695 in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts (Barbour citing Lebanon VR 1:40); and died 12 July 1752 in Lebanon, Connecticut in his 57th year (Barbour citing Lebanon VR 1:43), buried in the Old Cemetery there (Hale 67). He married on 10 May 1722 in Lebanon, Connecticut (Barbour citing Lebanon VR 1:43), Deborah Beard, daughter of Samuel Beard and Sarah Clark, born on 14 October 1699 in Milford, Connecticut (Barbour citing VR 1:22, OL:47).

    Both Timothy and Deborah became church members: he on 10 October 1725 and she on 8 December 1728 (Lebanon Church Records, slip index citing 4:4).

    The will of Timothy Clark of Lebanon, dated 13 March 1750/51, names his wife Deborah, son Timothy, second son Samuel, youngest son Nathan, and daughter Deborah. It appoints his wife Deborah to be guardian to his son Nathan and daughter Deborah. Executors are to be his wife Deborah and his brother Joseph Clark. The estate appraisal, made by Nathaniel Holbrook, William Clark, and Jonathan Clark, included 220 acres of land with buildings and orchard at £888:00:00 (Windham Probate District, Connecticut Estate Files, docket no. 889)."
