Thomas Jefferson Woolfolk was educated at Oglethorpe University at Midway, Ga. During the Mexican War he served in McCullough's Regiment. In 1855 he married Miss Floride Crowell, niece of the well known Col. Crowell at Fort Mitchell, Alabama. He then lived on a plantation in Russell Co. Alabama. During the Civil War he was Major of the 15th Alabama Regiment and fought under Stonewall Jackson in Va. He died in 1892 References
