    Thomas Woodmansee was born about 1697/98 to Thomas and Mary (Wardell) or Hannah (Williams?) Woodmansee in Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey. He married Mary Chase of Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts. the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Hall) Chase, on 15 September 1726 in Swansea. Mary probably was born in Swansea as her siblings were. Jacob Chase, in his will, dated 11 January 1733/34, mentioned all of his children except Mary. It appears that Thomas and Mary Woodmansee died in Swansea.
