"Wise, Benjamin. Colchester. Page 119-7 May 1761: Stephen, Wethersfield, aged 16, chose his brother Thomas Wise, Wethersfield, to be his guardian."
↑ That this Thomas Wise is the son of Benjamin and Prudence (Gott) Wise born some time in the 1720's at Attleboro, Massachusetts is confirmed by Thomas's being chosen guardian by his sixteen year old brother Stephen in 1761. Benjamin died at Colchester, Connecticut in 1760.
