    Thomas (Williams), s. of Thomas, b. 1746; the first lawyer in Stockbridge, where he sett. in 1771; went to Cambridge on the Lexington Alarm; was a capt. with Arnold in the Quebec Expedition, but returned with Col. Enos's division, was lieut.-col. 1776, in the Canada Expedition, and d. at Skeensboro while in this service, July 10, 1776. He m. 1771, Thankful Ashley of Stockbridge; she m. (2) ----- Ashley.
