[Notes state, "Thomas is the son of Benjamin B Wheeler and Mary Neale. Thomas died around 27 Aug 1807 when his estate was inventoried. His estate was settled 1 June 1820. He married Mary maybe Bowen aroun 1790. He lists 9 children in his estate settlement. Ann M Quinlan, Sylvester, July A Bussey, Ann Davis, Angus, Ellen Grindall, Elizabeth Wheeler, James Mitchell Wheeler.
Capt John Love's Co, #10 14 Sep 1774 Thomas Wheeler is also among the names in the companies of the Flying Camp, Philadellphia 2 Nov 1776 Francis Holland Capt and attached to the army after the defeat at Ft Washington where he performed the usual camp and guard duities, but did not have an opportunity to take part in battle.
