Letter from Thomas Warner to his sister Nancy (Warner) Loch:

- Dear sister and friends,
- We gladly imbrace this favorable opportunity of in forming your we are all in good health at present
- Thanks be to god for his tender mercies to war hoping these few lines may find you and all friends in the same state of health we received your friendly letter which gave us considerable satisfaction having never got a correct account of you sense we leff Virginia Before and now you have written nothing consarning Brother Stephen which made us feel strangely affected in that account we was told some very disagreeable things that happened him consarining his intermarriage in Carolinas But we could not credit it Please to write to us and as soon as convienient inform us ritely about it and about each of your families your number of children if any married whear thea live I this or another state and countys that we may have a opportunity to write to them We live here in Fairfax County Samuel ten miels north New Lancaster on the Grandville Road Thomas lives ten miles North East Near Bushmill Benjamin two miles on this side of Mount Barnam Jammima near Samuels and Mother with Samule Marion is no more she departed this life last June of short illness which beaffels the Phisicians, Brother Samuel has ten children seven girls and three boys non married sister Maryann had eight children a live som ein Virginia and some hear sister Jemmima has eight children one married Thomas has six children 4 boys 2 girls Brother Benjamin has seven children five daughters and 2 sons We desire you to give us some account of Nicholas Houser and his family Mother is growing verry frail and remembers her love to you all Expecting this last time on Earth to hear of you so we must conclude with desireing you to write an all a cation which weill be received with thankfulness Remember us to all inquiring friends No moe at present but I remain your most affectionate Brothers and Sisters until Death
