Obituary

  Thomas W. Wanemaker, well known retired farmer, died last Saturday at 4:30 a.m., at his home in Hopkins road, Boardman township, of Bright's disease following an illness of eight months, Mr. Wanemaker was born in North Jackson, Feb. 14, 1852, a son of Jonas and Hannah Everett Wanamaker. He was for many years engaged in farming in the Cornersburg neighborhood. Mr. Wanamaker was married to Lucy Henry Blackburn. He was a faithful member of the Zion Reformed church north of Canfield and leaves his wife and three step-children, Scott Blackburn and Mrs. Harry H. Smith, Canfield; and Floyd Blackburn, Warren. He also leaves two brothers, William H. Wanamaker, Washington, D. C., and Elmer D. Wannamaker, Alliance, and a sister, Mrs. Addie Burkey, Alliance. Funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. A. MacDonald of Youngstown, officiating. Interment in Zion church cemetery.
