    Thomas L. Tenan, 61, died Sunday, Jan. 8, at his home, 505 Fossil St. in Russell. He was born June 17, 1916, at McDonald, PA, and married Wayne (?) Moette Scarbrough on July 15, 1936, at Seminole, OK. She survives. He spent most of his early life in the Seminole area and was in the US Army in WW II. He moved to Russell in 1947 and had a magneto repair shop on W. Old Highway 40. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church and a life member of VWF Post #6240.

    Besides the widow, survivors are children: Mrs. Carlton (Wanda) Powell, Thomasville, GA, and Tom W. Tenan, Montezuma, KS; two brothers, Robert of Tulsa and Donald of Norman, OK; sister, Mrs. Louis (Dorothy) Stewart, Montgomery, AL; and 5 grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers and one sister.

    Services at Pohlman's Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Roger Easter officiating, burial in the Russell City Cem.
