NEHGR, p. 72:142, says that William Brook's daughter,Person:Patience Brooks (2), married soon after 8 Aug 1680 Thomas Taylor of Springfield. By age and location this would seem to be describing this Thomas Taylor, but there is no record of this marriage, nor a death of Patience, to confirm that she might have been his first wife? The Springfield records on p. 1:35 indicate that she had a daughter out of wedlock on 8 Aug 1680.
