Attested to Martha Smith 25 Apr 1732. 13 Apr 1730: Receipt of Mary Pilsbry received 40 shillings from sister Martha Smith her portion from her brother Thomas Smith. 1 Apr [1737?]: Receipt of [??] received 20 shilling of Mtthew [i.e., Martha] Davis Administrator to Thomas Smith juner of Ipswich that was given to James Davis by his gran[d]fathers will Thomas Smith senner, signed "In presence of George Smith", Thomas Wood, James Davis. 11 Jan 1730: Receipt of John Wainwright received fifty shillings of Martha Smith adm'x of her late husband Thomas Smith dec'd who was adm'r of his father Tho's Smith wheelwright dec'd for bills due from either estate. 25 Apr 1732: Account of administratrix allowed, indicates payments to "Brother Anthony Smith", "my daughter Goold" in part of her portion, "Mother Smiths funall Charges". Distribution of personal estate to Martha Smith Widow, Tho's Smith Eldest son, Martha Smith, Eben'r Smith 25 Apr 1732: Bond of Martha Smith widow as guardian unto Tho's Smith upward of fourteen years of age son of Tho's Smith late of Ipswich. 6 Dec 1737: Additional Acco't of Martha Smith Alias Davis, adm'x on the Estate of her Husband Tho's Smith late of Ipswich. Estate [of her father-in-law?] divided to George Smith, Dan'll Ringe, John Smith, Joseph Bowles, to the wife's funeral, to adm'x "for her trouble".
