She was born in Windsor, September 2, 1684. He died in East Windsor, March 16, 1761. … He resided in Hartford, probably in the old homestead at 'Rocky Hill,' with his brothers Joseph, Nathaniel, and Richard until about 1704, when he removed to Windsor and settled on the east side of the Connecticut River, in what is now the town of East Windsor. The last record of his being in Hartford was in October, 1702, when he was one of the witnesses to the will of Esther Pratt, his brother John's sister-in-law, … In February, 1722-23, the church records show that he was one of those having seats in the East Windsor Church. … in February, 1738-39, Thomas Skinner, of Windsor, quit-claimed to John Skinner, Jr., of Hartford, 'full sixth part' of a certain piece of land in Hartford containing 8 acres; and in Sept., 1736, and August, 1745, Thomas Skinner, of Windsor, joined with his brothers and other heirs of his father in the sale of land in Hartford."
