At the Cobourg General Hospital on Thursday, December 5, 1996. Jim Routley, in his 93rd year, was a long-time employee of Lever Brothers Canada, Toronto. Jim was the beloved husband of the late Mattie Routley (Young). Dear father of Betty Beamish of British Columbia and the late Joan Harnden. Grandfather of Wayne, Wendy, Cindy, Vernon, Jean, Jim, Ruth and Vali. Great-grandfather of Steven, Christy, Scott, Jonathon, Amy, Michael, Lindsay and Laura. At Mr. Routley's request there will be no memorial service. Mr. Routley's request was that his remains be donated to the University of Toronto for research.
