    There appear to be a couple of errors here: (1) All evidence points to Windsor being the only New England residence of this Thomas Parsons; (2) No evidence of Thomas Parsons in the early records of the New Haven church.

    "PARSONS Thomas of Windsor, m. Lydia Brown, June 28, 1641; he d. in Windsor Sept 23, 1661; his wife d. June 14, 1674. The name of Thomas Parsons appears on a book called Town Wayes, in Windsor, as one the owners of the Palisado Plot. He was a Pequot soldier and received fifty acres of land in Windsor for his services in the Pequot war; which land was subsequently allotted to his two sons, Ebenezer and Samuel Parsons, by the general court at Hartford, and Lieut. Matthew Allyn and Samuel Beckwith, jun., were appointed by the court to lay it out to them according to their grant, Oct 13, 1698 (see Col Records p 87). Children-- Bethnia, b. May 21, 1642; m Thomas Haskell of Simsbury, who was made a freeman, May 10, 1660; Abigail, b. Jan 21, 1644; buried Dec 5, 1659; Thomas, b. Aug 9, 1645; d Dec 14, 1680; John, b. Nov 13, 1647; Mary, b. July 23, 1652; Ebenezer, b. May 14, 1655; Samuel, b. July 18, 1657; d. at Hartford, Aug 11, 1708; Joseph, b. May 1, 1661; d. in Simsbury, April 15, 1687; William."

His wid. m. Eltweed Pomeroy. Of these ch. Ebenezer, Samuel, William, and Joseph live. at Simsbury, and some, if not all, had fams. but I kn. not the details. Bethia m. 10 May 1660, Thomas Mascall; and next, 18 Aug. 1672, John Williams of W."
