Applied for Confederate Pension around 1915 (application number 1993, reel 6). To apply, one had to have lived in OK from Feb 1914 to Feb 1915, had to have income less than $180/year and personal property under $1000

Was in Tishomingo in 1890, with only two in his household according to census records.

There was a Thomas Neely in 1900 in Chickasaw Nation according to census records who was born in Illinois in March 1837 (rather than Dec 1836) and was married to someone named Emily (rather than Nancy). He married Emily about 1878. She was probably his second wife and Nancy probably died before then. Emily was born May 1835 in Missouri.
