Died at Westport, 6 Sept. 1748. … In 1721 he bought property east of the Saugatuck River, in Green's Farms parish (Westport), and in 1732 purchased fifty acres in Wilton parish, Norwalk, where he settled. Will of Thomas of Norwalk, 13 Feb. 1747/8, proved 4 Oct. 1748; wife Mary; sons Jehu, Thomas; daus. Mary Bedient, Sarah Mills; Thankful Monrow, Hannah Sherwood, Elizabeth Raymond; son Elisha. … In 1734 Thomas conveyed to his son Stephen the easterly half of his farm in Wilton, reserving life use for himself and wife."
