Wardell, Lt. Col. U.S. Army Ret. : Kincheloe, Thomas, born 10/8/1761 in Fairfax County, Virginia; moved abt. age 1 with father to Fauquier County, Virginia, where entered service in 1777; moved to Davis Settlement on waters of Chaplin, Nelson County, Kentucky, thence to Breckenridge County, Kentucky, where he was Court Justice abt. 1800; granted Pension there in 1832 when resided in Hardinsburg; died 11/20/1845; married (1) 8/24/1780 to Hannah Robinson who was born 8/24/1762 & died 11/10/1791; married (2) 12/2/1794 to Nancy Edwards who was born 4/18/1779; children's births by 1st wife: William 7/12/1781 (married 10/13/1799), Joseph 6/2/1783 (married 3/5/1805), Peggy 8/4/1785 (died 1/20/1818, married 2/5/1809 to Richard Purkins, & he died 8/23/1809), Molly 8/24/1787 (died 8/24/1791), & Caty 8/24/1789 (died 8/24/1792), children's births by 2nd wife: John 5/8/1796 (died 8/18/1817), Phillip 2/4/1798 (married 10/9/1823 to Caroline Stith), Hannah Robinson 2/17/1800 (died 12/24/1814), Lewis 11/7/1801 (married 4/28/1828 to May Fontaine), Thomas Jefferson 10/28/1803 (died 9/29/182-), Jesse White 12/22/1805 (married 5/26/1829 to Claracey Reno), Allen 3/17/1808, & Purkins 3/28/1810; others data: Juley died 1/22/1818, William Reno died 8/23/1826, R.
