Page 97 (Vol. X) 3 August, 1725: Susannah Kilbourn, Adms. on the estate of Thomas Kilbourn, late of Hartford, decd., moving to the Court of Probate yt the order of the sd. Court, 1st February, 1713-14, for the distribution of sd. estate should be put in execution and completed, thereupon a citation was granted for David Smith and Hannah, his wife, William Miller and Susannah, his wife, heirs of sd. decd., to be heard concerning the same. The sd. Susannah Kilbourn, David Smith and William Miller now appeared and were heard concerning settlement of sd. estate, and upon the desire of the parties the same is referred to a further hearing on the 11th of this instant August.

Page 97—11 August, 1725: The widow, Susannah Kilbourn, David Smith and William Miller now appeared before this Court and was further heard as to the settlement of the estate of Thomas Kilbourn. It appears that two of the heirs have received in value more than their proportion of the moveable part of sd. estate of sd. Susannah Kilbourn, relict of sd. decd., and the real part of sd. estate being considerably advanced in value since the invt. was taken and order of dist. granted thereon (and not yet performed), which maketh it difficult to equalize and divide the sd. estate to and amongst the heirs, thereupon this Court order that the real estate of sd. decd, shall be anew apprised and a return thereof made to this Court, that another order of dist. of the whole estate may be granted, accounting what any of the heirs have already received as part or portions. This Court appoint Timothy Cowles, .Joseph Olmstead, Jr., and William Pitkin, apprisers.
