After Thomas's death a Francis Forsey came to stay with Thomas's widow and children for a time. As this Francis was a similar age to Thomas, one possibility is that he was a brother and that Thomas was another son of Francis Forsey and Sarah Hawkins, a family whose known children are quite widely spaced suggesting they may have had other children whose births or baptisms are lost or not recorded.
