Thomas Forman was the son of Benjamin Forman Sr and Anne Hamilton Forman , the family had moved in to Fredrick county in the mid 1750,s and established Fort Forman on the south bank of the Potomac Elizabeth, widow of Thomas Foreman, maiden name unknown but suspected to have been Decker. They were married before 5 March 1765 when Vincent Colvin & Elizabeth “his Wife” were appointed administrators of Thomas Foreman’s estate in Hampshire Co. Elizabeth brought two sons into her marriage – Joseph Foreman born in 1763 and Thomas Foreman born in 1765.

    Notes for Thomas Foreman:
A court ordered inventory was made after Thomas' death, on June 12, 1765. Elizabeth signed the probate bond on March 6, 1765, in Hampshire County. At that time she signed as Elizabeth Foreman, then as Vincent Calvin & Eilzabeth, his wife.
Thomas' will was probated in Hampshire County, VA, March 6, 1765. We know very little of Thomas. Only recently has he been identified as the parents of Thomas and Joseph. Thomas died very young, probably as the result of Indian attacks. In dying, he left a small child and a pregnant wife, Elizabeth.
Thomas had owned some land along with his brother and father, in the Hampshire County area of Virginia. At his death, his estate was probated by his wife, Elizabeth.
Thomas is mentioned as traveling with his brother, but no further mention of his existence is known.
