[Note: children through 1797 recorded in both Westford and Ashby. Births continue in Ashby until 1808. The reference to Cavendish has something to do with Thomas Chamberlin being a grantee of Ludlow, VT, and possibly also of Cavendish, VT, per p. 167.]
