Beardsley, Thomas. A Thomas "Beazley" m. at Milford, 20 Mar. 1649 [1649/50], Elizabeth Harvey [New Haven Col. Rec]. Perhaps she was dau. of Josiah Harvey of Milford and Fairfield. Milford records are silent concerning this man, and we suppose that he was the Thomas Beardsley who was later in Stratford. There he bought land, 7 Feb. 1661 [1661/2]; the last entry, made 13 Feb. 1668 [1668/9], calls him dec'd; yet we find no probate action until 29 Mar. 1676, when his Inv. was taken by the Selectmen of Stratford.
