01 March 1997 - LDS library/Hot Springs Ar. In researching records at the above library, I found 31 Christening records for various Averys in Tenderden Presbyterian. Since the Christening records listed the parents, I was able to group families together, and based on this informationI could pretty well determine the probable bloodline to our family. This information was later confirmed in correspondence received from Linda Beckett of Afton, New York. Thomas Avery was Christened on 26 Feb 1777, and therefore, he was probably born in late 1776 or early 1777.
