Pulaski Democrat, 10 Aug 1977: CHILD DIED IN ACCIDENT AT SELKIRK A 2-year-old Wayne County child was killed and six persons were injured... Saturday... in the Town of Richland at Selkirk Corners... Prounounced dead on arrival at Oswego Hospital was Theodore Yancey, son of Allen and Martha Yancey of Wolcott RD 3. Death was attributed to internal injuries... All members of the Yancey family, who were riding in a pickup truck, were treated for cuts, bruises and scrapes at the hospital and released... Injured were Allen Yancey, 41, Wolcott RD 3, driver of the truck, his wife, Martha, 34, and Michael, 10, all of whom together with Theodore were riding in the front seat. Also injured were Christine, 6, Cathy, 12, and Cynthia, 5, who were riding in the back of the truck... Services for Theodore Yancey were held Tuesday. Burial was in Rose Cemetery, Wolcott. He was born in Sodus on September 26, 1974. Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Miss Christine; his paternal grandmother... his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Kaine of Williamstown, and several aunts and uncles.
