"Theodore Parsons was one of Southamptons wealthiest and prominent citizens. He died suddenly June 1 1854, aged 73. On the day of his death he was expecting to leave home on business and was in considerable haste in consequence. He left the house to feed some calves, and not returning as soon as he was expected, search was made for him and his dead body was found. His death was probably caused by heart disease."
